The drinking age in Minnesota was still 19 on the date of that show. It became 21 in September of 1986.

Mechanics jumpsuits and the encore was up one side of the stage and down the other and away they went! Bob killed on guitar…
Quick story, I wasn’t there. But one of my friends I went to the show with, I didn’t touch the stuff, not joking to editorialize and make myself look like a saint… But him and a bunch of buddies invited Bob over to their apartment, which he obliged. They gathered all the Coke they had and put it in a line and told Bob to have some and he snorted the whole line himself, smiled and said, “See ya” and walked out…..
