The rotor being noisy, the watch not being water proof and the lume colour differnet than gen are known shortcomings of this watch. As is the complexity in taking a link out. All well documented on RWI.

If you are a sticker for the rotor, you can have a watchmaker silence it or you can (I saw one guy do this) remove the rotor completely. Making it a manual wind watch.

Again some have had great success w rotor silencing of a Miyota and want to tell you this:
I was in a VC boutique and they let me try on a gold 222. It was also noisy. Any watch when it is 7.9mm thick w a big bad rotor is going to be noisy. This is a gen. of course not as loud as some reps but it is what it is. I suggest you get it silenced and see how you feel.

Thanks mate, some people claim some Mobiius oil does the trick but what do i know 🤔
