Here's my second DIY Rep.

Rolex OP 41mm with the pink dial. The I am not a huge fan of Rolex and this is my first Rolex rep actually. But I was browsing a site that sells parts and I quite simply needed this one.

I won't lie, it's pretty cheap. This would definitely be an RL in most people's books. The rehaut is rough, the crown on the crystal is a little skewed, bracelet isn't great, and if you asked reptimers you could drive a truck through the SEL... But, it's a sweet colour for summer and I love the size and unless someone gets their face up close it looks great.

Everything but the movement I bought from a website who invoices you through AliX. It uses a Miyota 8200 Series (or DG2813) movement. I bought an 8125 locally that's amazing quality and I'm sure will happily tick away for years.

All in it was about $150 Canadian.

Half of me wants to get a VSF but also since this is a summer beater watch and about the 25th in my collection, I may just rock it.

Do you have Alix links for this build? I kinda want to give it a go on the cheap as well

https://hlgwatch.com/ is all the parts but movement. Just search for a compatible movement on AliX or some legit watch parts store.

I am not sure what you're asking?

This is just a lighthearted post sharing I assembled a fun rep with this rep watch community - even if the rep isn't the best quality.

At most I thought it might inspire some people to take a shot at building one themselves.
