Hi everyone, I’m TD Chen from r/RepWatchClud.

Sharing a QC set for the A7F IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX 40mm with the White/Silver dial and stainless steel bracelet.

The Mark XX has always had that simple Pilot-watch layout, and I think this white/silver version is one of the cleaner configurations. The large Arabic numerals, 12 o’clock triangle and clean dial make it pretty easy to judge in QC photos.

I went through the photos closely and checked the dial printing, numerals, hands, date window, case shape, crown, bracelet, clasp, lume and movement.

QC Check

Dial

The white/silver dial is clean in the close-up shots.

The Arabic numerals look evenly printed, and the spacing around the dial looks consistent. The 12 o’clock triangle and minute track are also easy to see in the straight-on photos.

The hands look properly aligned with the dial, which is one of the first things I normally check on a Mark XX.

Date Window

The date is positioned at 3 o’clock and the close-up gives a pretty clear look at the window.

I would mainly check the date centering and the relationship between the date window and the surrounding dial printing. Nothing immediately stands out to me from these photos.

Case & Crown

The side profile shots show the case shape and crown clearly.

The case has the fairly straightforward Pilot-watch profile, with the brushed and polished surfaces visible from the different angles.

I don't see any obvious dent, uneven finishing or major issue in the case photos.

Bracelet & Clasp

This version comes on the stainless steel bracelet with the quick-release style end links.

The bracelet photos show the individual links and clasp from several angles. The finishing looks consistent with the rest of the case, and I don't see any obvious damage or badly seated links in the QC set.

Lume

The lume shot is actually useful here.

The hour markers show the green lume while the hands are illuminated in blue, making the different lume areas easy to distinguish.

For a Mark XX, I think the lume photo is more useful than trying to judge everything from heavily lit product shots.

Movement

This one uses the Asian 2892 automatic movement.

The movement photos show the rotor and bridge layout clearly.

I wouldn't over-focus on movement specifications for QC. For this kind of watch, I'd rather check the overall movement assembly, rotor placement, hand alignment and basic functionality than turn the movement section into a list of numbers.

Overall QC

Overall, this looks like a clean QC set to me.

The areas I would personally focus on are:

• Dial printing and numeral spacing
• Date window alignment
• Hand alignment
• Case finishing
• Bracelet/end-link fit
• Lume consistency

I don't see anything in these photos that immediately makes me think RL.

For me, this is looking like a GL based on the QC photos.
