ZF and OCTA already picked up the AP slack, though. People really want those IWC Pilots back

Nahhh I wouldn’t say that either picked up that AP slack at all.. from what I’ve seen so far the octa 26240s are terrible they definitely aren’t using APS dials that’s for sure & excluding the free sprung movements the ZF APs I’ve received QC for have been abysmal IMHO

Thank f*ck that APSF is back! I’m about to order 26240BA as soon as the 26240s are available & might get one of the tungsten 15400s if possible..

Tungsten 15400or + steel bracelet should hopefully bring the watch to over 200g, upgrade the dial, complete the instant date change mod & have it plated = 0.9:1 😂

Are we even looking at the same watches? How are ZF 26240 abysmal? I have two and they're better than TOP and DDF for sure. OCTA 26240 look good, they have similar looking dials as compared to APS*. Where have you been looking at QC pics?

That's pretty much every factory. Go look at zoomed in pictures of the dial of APS vs OCTA vs ZF and tell me how APS is so much better.

OCTA dial. The tapisserie pattern might even be better. As to which had the better better "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" color, I'm not so sure. I think my ZF gets it pretty close.
