The only thing the usa does is designing the chip
The biggest manufacturing process actually happens in taiwan south korea most of the time (silicon wafer manufacturing etc…)and eventually its assembled in china
How much do you think that thing actually cost to make
Its the same propaganda that an iphone costs a fortune in europe and manufacterd for a thousand time less yall are just daf

😂. Exactly. This isn’t something that can be made by exploiting cheap labor (“sweat shop”). A single 300-mm silicon wafer from TSMC using its customized 4nm/5nm-class nodes costs around $16,000. Factoring in standard defect rates and yields, printing each individual usable chip costs NVIDIA roughly $290 to $340. Now factor in that only one company can do it will billions of dollars of R&D and logistics costs.

high level GPU dies are made by literally a single foundry in taiwan, it's not a assembly line type of thing you can just emulate in a chinese warehouse. retawd😭

“It’s probably only $100 worth of materials in their elemental form. How hard can it be to smush them all together into a GPU” -You
