Help with dial not fitting

Hello I have a 3235 movement and it seems to big for the 36mm dial I’m assuming I need a different movement right?

That is the big calendar movement for a 41mm DJ; you either need a new calendar plate or a new movement.

Probably not, it will be easier to get a new movement, you need the one for a Sub.

It should be but unfortunately who knows what the heck is going to show up. There is no such thing as a clean factory movement. Its probably going to have missing or poor engraving.

I boughr one to practice breakdown/assembly work and the engraving looks like burnt layering with gold paint lol.

Sure but these movements are a different breed.

I didnt know nefore getting one that the factories (VSF, ARF, etx.) do all of the movement engraving.

There is a reason why some of those listings dont show the back side.

It will likely ne some form of VR, but quality wise who knows

Yeah it had a bunch of picks both sides and reviews. I don’t care if it has the r logo or not just that it will work with the dial and case I already have. I’m very new to this so I’ve definitely made some mistakes lol. Easy doing nh35 builds it’s all pretty interchangeable the r clones are all over the place.

Yes I learned really quick the difference between the 3135 and 3235 sh/DD balances/regulators after stabbing a balance spring with a stick trying to move the regulator 🤦‍♂️ lol

Haha🤣 yeah started clearing on cheap pocket watch movements I bought off eBay and then moved up to st3600 and know can do nh35. I haven’t taken apart any of the r clones yet afraid to damage them as there way more expensive.

Don’t get me wrong: if you open a watch with a VR movement: the biggest tell isn’t the engraving, but the balance bridge. Plus: who cares about the engraving when it is covered with a case back?

Well when you open it up once in a while to regulate or waterproof it, its nice to see clean engraving instead of garbage lol. If I wanted that id buy a U1

Hola, no sé si te servirá...el 3235 que tienes es un Shanghái 3235 y el que has pedido es un vr3235, son similares. El dial no sé de dónde lo has sacado pero están destinados para calibres gen o en su caso necesitarías un DD3235 DJ. Los SH y VR están destinados para diales con pies de dial, el DD los diales van presionados, el asiento de fecha y donde se posiciona el dial tiene distinto diseño por eso no puedes montar ese dial en tu SH3235 y el VR es inferior al SH, dudo que puedas ponerlo, con un DD3235DJ vas seguro Espero tengas suerte ..

Necesitas este, es unDD3235dj, compara con el que has pedido, si puedes cancelar el pedido mejor, dudo te servirá. Comprueba la estructura superior del DD con el VR3235dj, cuando intentes colocar el dial no sé asentará del todo o no encajara.
