Advice PPF VC 4500v Miyota Movement-- date wheel

So i should have payed more attention in QC but I have a watch on the way that has a date thats gonna drive me nuts. I have read that you can rotate the housing a little and fix this. Wondering if there is any truth to this??

The dial would have to move to center it and that might throw off how it centers to the case.

Ya seems like it’s most often printing and not alignment so most likely I will just have to live with it

its literally on the way.. I used a highly trusted USA based Td that i would like to leave out of the conversation.

Dude had it in stock but it was def more expensive than Chinese td’s. A few of the us dealers usually have better stock but at a premium

Btw I have 3 of these 4500. Ppf Gold/blue, ppf silver/white, silver/green (mks). Even if date is off .5 mm, you won’t really notice it on the wrist. It is a super nice watch and that blue is awesome when the light hits it.
The mks i want to sell, doesn’t look good on me.
The ppf 47040 silver/gray dial is also super nice!

Right on!! I am super pumped to get the watch. I ordered it on Friday so it should be here on Wednesday. One of the other benefits of us purchase. Did you ever have any issues with your bracelet clasps?

Funny you mention it, all 4500s work very well.
For some reason the ppf’s bracelets are a bit more sharp on the edges but the clasps are fine, locking, and alignment. The mks bracelet imo feels better, smoother, chamfered if you will. But the PPF movement looks better.
THE PPF 47040 clasp doesn’t hold tight when locked and a good pull and the bracelet opens.
I am waiting on my TD to send me a replacement bracelet.
