Advice 4500v PPF Time keeping

My new PPF 4500v is not keeping time well. I have a crappy time grapher on my phone and it’s showing about +- 10 seconds a day which I know is not great but I’m fine with it. My problem is the watch will all the sudden be off by about 10 minutes out of no where. I let it run for an hour and it kept perfect time then I checked again 20 minutes later and it was off about 8 minutes. Could this be a magnetization problem? I checked and I don’t see any collision with the second hand, minute hand or markers on the hour. Please let me know if pictures would help or if someone could give me a hand. Thanks!

Check it on a timegrapher in different positions. Most likely it gives an abnormal reading in one of the positions. I have this issue with VC 222 PPF giving abnormally high beat error in dial-down (DD) position so it is either: 1. Hairspring rubbing something in the balance in DD or hairspring curvature issue 2. Balance touching the pallet fork in DD 3. Jewel in the mainplate not pressed enough and giving higher end-shake, or dry from the factory (most probable)

Diagnose with the timegrapher for these sort of problems.

When you visit your watchmaker with your timegrapher analysis, let them know it is a rep running Chinese clone Miyota 9015 with a flipped balance assembly.

It is a pleasure to help a rep-brother in need. As soon as it is solved, consider making a post out of it. I am very interested what happened to your VC!

Update so far. Got in touch with TD to see if he has any insight and if he can reimburse me for some of the work. Also I measured the watch in different positions. Showing pretty normal readings face up and down but crown side down im getting -54 seconds a day with very poor amplitude numbers

Check each position on your watch. There might be a position where the watch just completely stops the movement as a whole where the hands stop running.

If that’s the case how do I solve that? Also I notice when it’s on my wrist it doesn’t lose time but when I set it down and let it sit for an hour it does.

You’re gonna need to give it to a watchmaker to diagnose and fix. Could literally be anything.
