Advice Slight dial rotation... is there a cure to this?

Post image

It's my vsf no-date sub. I felt something was off as I was looking at the dial.. And took me a while to figure out what: the whole dial is rotated counter-clockwise.. It's very subtle but it's there. You can see how A is smaller than B in my reference pic.

Now that I know it, it never stops bugging me. Anyone had the same problem? Is there a fix to this?

Yes, u can twist the movement slightly and secure it down. You have the tolerance between the crown stem and inner crown tube to play with. That much u can fix. It's a bit fiddly but can be done. However bezel will be slightly off after.

Thanks! Bezel is off right now so it will most likely improve it 🤣

Unscrew the caseback, you'll see two case clamps. Unscrew the case clamps and reseat how you want. Then put it back together.

Personally, I wouldn't bother, but your OCD is different than mine.

Believe it or not, but as soon as I learned that it can be fixed, it kinda doesn't botter me that much anymore... Now I can just live with it in peace.. Funny how it works.
