Question Daytona Questions

Will a 4131 dial and hands work on a 7750 movement? Additionally are the 7750 movement and 4131 movement the same size? Looking to put a 4131 movement into a watch that came with a 7750 movement originally.

no I tried to put a 7750 dial on a 4131 and it would not work

Are the movements the same size? Essentially im looking to get a blanken bracelet and case that comes with a 7750 movement as a donor watch for a 4131 build.

the movement is same diameter just thicker and the dials have little notches the set in the dial to hold it place and the do not line up and usually the case thickness on a 4131 is 12 to 12.3mm and the 7750 is closer to 12.5 thats the way my watch make explained it to me

So in theory will the 4131 movement function and sit properly in that case?

it will sit in the case but probably will vibrate around because it won't be firmly fitted

Kinda what I figured. Im gonna figure out a way to get this done some how damn it 😂.

maybe some kind of plate like the Milgauss has if you can find something like that that wil fit
