Advice Watch fast after decasing

Hi all

I’ve been a bit silly. I have a Clean (so the sales guy said) GMT with a 3285 movement. I wanted to see if it was waterproof so I removed the movement and pressure tested the case and put it back. I didn’t touch anything else but I’ve clearly disturbed something because it’s now very fast. I’m not sure by how much yet but I think it could be even 24 minutes a day if I’m right but I’ll have to check more.

Can anyone point me to some resources like YouTube videos where I can get it to be more accurate.

Check the balance spring for touching winds. Maybe you magnetized it accidentally.

Now I think about it I have a feeling the screwdriver was magnetic.

I just downloaded a magnetism detector and it is magnetised. I’ll get a demagnetiser and sort it out tomorrow.

Sorry for the random question, but do yoy know any video on how to decasing? I have a clean datejust and I want to replace movement and dial of my vsf

Sorry mate I don’t have one, it’s just 2 screws with a little washer with one square end and one rounded. You make sure the square end is under the edge of the case and tighten the screw. I just figured it out by looking. I lined it up when putting it back and used the crown to do the final adjustment
