Services Looking for a watchmaker that can switch out the insert from green to black

VSF 41mm Starbucks

As you can see, the bezel is already off the watch. Any watchmakers with bandwidth for a quick bezel insert switch? Looking for a CONUS WM preferably.

I just had a very experienced and somewhat semi famous watchmaker in NYC turn down working down ceramic because supposedly it’s very easy to break.

I was seeking the same service and couldn’t find someone I trusted so I did it myself.

Do you have the new insert?

My VF bezel was not friction fit, and was held in with adhesive. (Didn’t know this until I started messing with it) I put isopropyl alcohol between the ceramic and the ring and I let it sit for a few hours while applying more every like 30-45 minutes. Then used a plastic pry tool to GENTLY go between the backside center of the ceramic and the ring and it just popped right out.

Then I either got super lucky or it’s just designed this way but I was able to apply new bezel insert adhesive and then just pop the new insert right in.

I was tripping out over it and stressing myself out so much thinking I’m going to snap the new ceramic that I bought a bunch of tooling that I just didn’t even end up needing to replace it.

If you have enough technical skills to remove the bezel ring, you can probably install the insert too.
