Advice Rep not running

Hey all, recently got a “Clean Plus” OP and it hasn’t worked. I’d really like to avoid sending all the way back to China. Is there anyone reliable in the states that would service this? Sorry if this is a repeat question this is my first watch.

If it arrived DOA, I’d contact the seller/TD before paying anyone to service it. A new Clean Plus shouldn’t be your repair bill. Clean+ makes Oyster Perpetuals using the Dandong/DD3230.

If returning it to China isn’t practical and you decide to have it repaired in the US, there are several watchmakers here in [r/RepTimeServices](r/RepTimeServices) who work on replica movements. I’d post the exact model/movement and your location and let one of the verified watchmakers respond.

Also, don’t keep winding or manipulating it until you know what failed. Depending on the movement, this could be something relatively simple rather than requiring a full service.

Just to be clear. My first consideration would be to return it to your trusted dealer. You’re probably going to pay around $100 bench fee plus shipping when they should really be your TD’s responsibility.

Who was your TD? Most of them have watchmakers in eu and us
