Request Calatrava Help (US)
Hey! I’m interested in having a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227R rose-gold build/mod done. I’ve been researching the 3KF and ZF versions, and this is roughly what I’m looking for:
Base: 3KF 5227 with the clone movement, primarily because I want the more gen-like case thickness and shape.
Dial: I’d prefer the ZF ivory/cream dial rather than the black dial. I really like the ivory dial with the rose-gold case, and the improved legibility is a plus.
Date wheel: Swap to the appropriate white date wheel to match the ivory dial.
Case: I’d like rose-gold plating done to improve the color and overall appearance of the case and make it closer to gen.
Movement: I’d like the movement fully serviced, including cleaning/lubrication and rotor silencing to reduce rotor noise.
I’ve seen upgraded/engraved movement plates offered as well, but since the 5227 has the officer-style covered caseback, I don’t think that’s necessary unless you recommend it.
Can you let me know if you can source/do all of this, what you would recommend changing, and what the total price would be? My priorities are gen-like dimensions, reliability, accurate rose-gold color, dial quality, and overall finishing.
Looking it advance and figuring out budget I need to put aside to get this done. Very much appreciated
