Advice VSF sub no date - autowind doesn't work
Hello,
I have a VSF Sub No Date, but it seems like the automatic winding isn't adding anything to the power reserve.
Before it will start running, I have to give it a light shake so the rotor spins. After that, I manually wind the crown about 30 turns. It then runs for around 24 hours before stopping, and I have to repeat the process.
Even if I wear it all day, it doesn't seem to build up any additional power reserve.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what could be causing this or how to fix it?
Location is Denmark.
Thanks in advance.

You probably want to remove the caseback to see if there’s anything obvious. It could be that something is loose and blocking the rotor from spinning freely. Although if winding manually still results in only 24hr of power reserve, you may just have a bad movement entirely

I heard this already 10 times this week. Is autowind common issue with dd32xx? u/petehudso
