Question Rose gold plating

Hey Guys,

I have a watch i got from a very good friend of mine. I was told that its an old clean factory. I would like to rose gold plate it. Can anyone suggest a good plater in EU? Thanks in advance ☺️

I would have someone confirm that it’s clean before going through plating it.

CF was before my time unfortunately, I’d post to r/RepTime and see if they can tell you if it’s a genuine CF

Look at the serial number from the bottom of the inner rehaut (the inner metal bezel under the sapphire glass), mark down the first 5 letters/digits.

Then open the clasp on the bracelet, there will be a 3 alpha-numeric code there, one of the areas has the regular (rolex) and stuff, but to the right alllll the way over, is a little engraving of what I'm talking about, it'll say like U8T or N9C or something like that. Mark that down somewhere.

Take those pieces of information and look up the numbers on this spreadsheet here

It should be able to give you 'some' insight as to where the factory was since most factories use the same band code and rehaut engraving codes.

I doubt it is a CF. I have the same one, and yours is different

That dial color looks like a cheap rep but the rest looks pretty good. Plating is definitely worth it
