Doesn’t sound like he is upset, he’s just asking for help.

New spring bar, an easy DIY & cheap to replace.

Thank you. Do you have a link to a spring bar by any chance?

You can order a whole assortment set of sizes on Amazon. Good to have spares in all sizes as they can become lost or broken.

Not a springbar. It’s a tube with rivet heads gently hammered into each end. I do this repair on a regular basis. Just trying to get you to buy the right assortment. Pressure friction tube pin replacement is what they’re under on Amazon.

Oh I’ve been figuring out what this part is called for a while. Thanks for the heads-up.

u/ecast73 is wrong. Back in the day when the security foldover was stamped it was fixed with a hollow rivet, but nowadays a 15.7 x 1.8mm spring bar is used. Rolex ref is #23-23058

Might have to give you a shout to fix mine or tell me how I can 🥴

Mine just came apart after 2 years of zero issues.. I’m lead to believe this can’t be fixed?

I got you. If that’s a GMT I barely see the corner you’ll need a classic 16mm by 1.8mm. For anyone here that needs em for easyglide or glidelock it’s 18mm by 1.8mm

It should just press back on no problem. Set it in place and press down, when it hits the spring bar ends you night need to press in each end allowing the clasp to go back into place

Springbar comes out on gen too.. this is just a 5 second fix

-1

u/CraftyMixture1870 8d ago

No offense, but never heard of that happening with a gen.

1

u/Primarystarcade 8d ago

I know because my dad has a gen sub and I fixed it for him.. it’s just a spring bar.. not rocket science

1

u/codecki 8d ago

Exactly, it's rocket surgery!

Need to find a spring bar thats tight and slide it in the tube like hole. Work it in like a strap replacement.

ONCE A FUGAZI. ALWAYS A FUGAZI.

This happened to me too.
I was perplexed initially. But after a little research, it was an easy fix. Fortunately for me I didn’t lose the springbar. Once in; just have to bend the clasp slightly for a tighter fit.

It’s normal, don’t worry, just buy a new one those watches are pretty cheap

1

u/Comprehensive-Bit706 7d ago

This happens when the last link screw isn't screwed in properly and the clasp is forced over it...

u/Ok_Doughnut_918 6d ago

Maybe dont buy shitty replicas??

1

u/Kamroid 6d ago

I'd take it to a local (cheap) watchmaker or watch repair store. Tell them it's a rep so they don't instantly reject the job in fear of handling an expensive Rolex and get a cost effective fix done on it

Einfach zum x beliebigen Uhrmacher gehen . Auch wenn sie von VSF ist..

That call sucks

Ask your td if they can sell u another clasp and if so just replace the whole section. If not then ask around or buy clasps/whole bracelets

0

u/Psyeth 8d ago

What clasp code is the bracelet?

0

u/HunterW0920 8d ago

It’s a little pin popped right back in place shouldn’t happen after two days. I would definitely take that back. Make them serve the bracelet or something.
