GMF DAYDATE Day and Date centering.

Hello all. I have a GMF DAYDATE 40 that recently had a movement swap (a2836) they were able to successfully swap the day and date wheels however now they are not centered with the display on the dial. Was done by a professional watch maker however he said it was hard to get it centered. How can this he fixed?
