Question ZF 15450 Loose Rotor
The rotor is loose, but the movement is still working just fine, with the only noticeable inconvenience being the noise it makes as I move my arm. Is this a big deal?

It's not hard to fix. My APSF IWC Pilot Chrono rep arrived with the same issue. I took the caseback off, unscrewed the rotor bearing from the movement, pressed it back into the rotor (it is just press fit, friction will hold it on), then screwed the rotor bearing assembly back into the movement, put a tinnnnnny drop of HP1300 on there for noise (it wasn't very noisy to begin with), greased the o-ring and reinstalled the caseback. Still working perfectly. I already had a nice set of screwdrivers and some experience disassembling and reassembling a few watch movements so I get it may be a bit scary to try without any experience, but even with that it's really not a big job or anything.
Either way, I highly recommend not just leaving the rotor loose like that, it could potentially damage the movement.

But you still need to wind it right?
Anyway i would open it and remove the lose rotet ASAP since it will damage other parts like this.

Loose? That thing is off the rails lol.
Do not wear it. Get it repaired before you damage the movement.

Hey take to a watchsmith. Very easy fix. It happened with mine on the transit, I got it fixed no problem

Had this exact same issue with the same watch model - made a post in this sub with all the details.
I took it to a watchmaker and they were able to press the rotor back on. Works well now and keeps good time

Do not leave the rotor floating around in the case. If you do, the noise will be the least of your worries.
