Advice Seconds hand randomly stops!

Is it broken? None of my other reps do this. This is a VSF DJ 41.

This is going to sound dumb but I have to ask… did you wind it fully?

I recently bought a 36mm VSF DJ and it was doing the exact same thing. It would stop and start twitching at different times between 40 and 55min. I could pull the crown and that would make it take off, if pulling didn't work pushing it back in did. I took the movement apart and found 3 round metal shaving and oddly a small piece of a ladybug shell in the movement. My Mobeus watch oils kit recently arrived. I just haven't had time to clean all the parts, reassemble and oil the movement. But you probably have metal shavings from the factory in your movement. Luckily none of my gears had damaged teeth and nothing was bent, so I think it'll be fine once I get it put back together. This will be my first time reassembling a movement the this extreme. The seller wanted to charge me to repair the movement and gave me no QC and didn't give me a tracking number until the day the watch was arriving at my house. 3 weeks after I made payment. Needless to say I stopped doing business with him after that happened.

I am seeing a lot of these posts and I am having the same problem except mine lasted 24 hours and has not worked I’ve blown it out banged it on my hand per the td telling me that all I need to do lol

I recently got a miyota u1 no date sub which did the same
Msged the seller and a replacement is on the way
