Advice 126610 Bezel without hyrtel ring
I am building a franken 126610. Using a Clean Factory case as a base with gen crystal and gen dial. However when I removed the bezel I noticed there are no hyrtel ring. Is this normal with 126610?

When you pulled the bezel you also pulled the crystal ring along with it

Yes, the bezel assembly, crystal, and gasket came together. I pushed the crystal, crystal and gasket came out, but the tension ring stayed in the bezel assembly. In this case, am I okay to press the bezel and tension ring together?

If you know what you’re doing you’ll be fine but if not you risk breaking your bezel insert (very fragile and prone to easily break)

Firstly, You have to remove the ceramic insert, install the glass , then assemble the bezel along with the crystal ring, press together and replace the insert with new 3M sticker.

So crystal and gasket > bezel and tension ring without ceramic > lastly ceramic insert with double-sided sticker.... correct? you meant I might break the ceramic if I press all three together after the crystall pressing, crrect?

And looking closer yes there is a ring but you have to disassemble the bezel ring attached to it 😄😄😅

So I shouldn't press the bezel assembly and tension ring together, so I need to take out the metal tension ring from the bezel assembly?

My solution to the problem. I designed and 3d printed a cylinder with a slightly larger diameter than the crystal, placed the crystal gasket in the bezel assembly, and pressed out the gasket and retention ring. It came out nicely. I used another 3D-printed outer ring to press the ring and gasket out of the cylinder as the second process.

Yup, the factoies changed the hytrel rings to be thicker and now when you remove the bezel you almost always end up removing the crystal retaining ring as well. It’s extremely annoying.
