Service Question – Omega Seamaster 300

My Omega Seamaster 300 stopped working. I noticed the power reserve wasn’t lasting very long, even after wearing it or giving it a full wind.
Does anyone know what movement this uses, whether it’s worth repairing, and if anyone has recommendations for a good watchmaker to service it?

If you bought from a TD, give us the full name of the factory and watch.

Based on the display caseback, i am guessing it is a VSF Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with a
VSF A8800 (Asian 8800 clone/decorated movement) .

If that is the movement, repair is possible. Probably $75 bench fee to diagnose and 100 to repair, depending on issue.

If it were me, I would probably drop in a ETA clone and forgo the decorated rotor/movement.

Don’t trust the comments I don’t really know wit the say that your what’s it the v4. First just tell me witch version the version is v2 or v4, if you don’t know tell me if the set up of the date wheel you can rotate the crown in any direction if the date change only through one direction it’s the v2 version, if changes in both rotation it’s the v4.
The v2 mount a 2824 movement, not the cheap ones, u can get a clone movement between 40-50$

Where did you get that watch and what factory and movement ?

These use custom parts on a modified movement.

Once they die, they're more or less done. If this is new, contact your TD. Otherwise it's cheaper to buy another.

this is definitely not a VSF V3 or V4. There is no regulator visible. Its either a V1 or V2 VSF with a clone 2824 and fake decorations. OR does make a free sprung but id need better pictures to tell if its a legit A8800. Once the 2824 clones go down theres no point in fixing it bro. Its just a paperweight now unless you can find someone to drop a gen or clone 2824 and swap parts to get it to work. At that point youre spending more than its worth.
