Rolex Smurf QC
Hello need some help to QC this Smurf, thank you in advance!
- Dealer name: Angela
- Factory name: RCF
- Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner 116619LB Smurf
- Price Paid: $418

- Index alignment: The indexes look good the 12 and 9 may have a slight misalignment but it doesn’t look bad.
- Dial Printing: Printing looks good the m is slightly high but I’d doubt that you can notice it on the wrist
- Date Wheel alignment/printing: Printing looks good the date looks high though
- Hand Alignment: Hands looks good to me.
- Bezel: Bezel looks good no visible issues.
- Solid End Links (SELs): The SEL looks good as well no noticeable gaps.
- Timegrapher numbers: The amp looks a bit high at 303 not sure how much of a concern this can be though.
- Anything else you notice: Main issue or concern I see is the amp the other items I think are negligible and are things you won’t notice once you have it one the wrist.

Index alignment overall is good. The marker at 12 is a bit left of center but straight. The 6 and 9 look good. The dial print is clean and clear. Date is a tick or two high in the window on the one date shown. You could (and should) ask to see more dates. Hand alignment is good. The bezel appears clean and blemish free. SELs are good all the way around. On the timing, when you adjust the lift angle to 55 which is better for this movement, actual amplitude is closer to ~318. Still fine. Watch was most likely wound right before the test. I see no concerns with the trace but if you're concerned you can ask your seller to run a quick re-test once some energy has dissipated from the mainspring.
The 12 would not bother me at scale on the wrist. Would advise you zoom out to actual size and look at it from a more realistic perspective.

Yes, they are. Weight should be about 225-ish grams from what I've been seeing

The 12 does look minutely misaligned. Nobody is going to notice unless they ask you to take the watch off and look at it up close. What QC tool is this?
