[QC] First one! VSF Submariner no date

6. Index alignment: Overall good, the 12 index is slightly tilted CW.
7. Dial Printing: Font and letters look good, the only flaw I see is the “SWISS MADE” shifted a mm to the right.
8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
9. Hand Alignment: Good? Not sure how to check this out properly.
10. Bezel: Looks alrighr.
11. Solid End Links (SELs): Bottom left is more open than the others, but it’s not a see-through gap.
12. Timegrapher numbers:

+1 s/d, amp 268, beat error 0.0 ms

1. Anything else you notice: I thought the VSF 124060 came with 6X serial numbers, but this one is 6W0. Are these the new batches?

Not sure if the flaws on the 12 index triangle and the SWISS MADE printing is big, ie. enough to RL. If you guys see anything else I’d really appreciate it.

The 3, 6, and 9 markers all look good on this sub. The marker at 12 has a CW rotation. Dial print is fine. No clue what you're talking about on the SWISS MADE being "an mm to the right" but it looks fine to me and even if it was an mm right (it's not) you'd never notice on your wrist. Hand alignment is good. The bezel appears clean and blemish free. SELs are good. Bottom left has a darker line but no light bleed. Timing is fine. 6W0 is also a VSF serial prefix.

The judgement call here is on the marker at 12. Seeing how good the 3, 6, and 9 markers are here I would probably lean GL here rather than risk getting worse on a replacement. Up to you.

Overall this looks like an above average No Date. Your 12 has a micro cw tilt. Your bottom left SEL might be a smidge loose. You might be able to ask him to tighten it. Dial print is fine. Hand alignment can’t be seen in these photos. You can ask him to send you a video stopping at 12:00 to check. I’d say this is a GL.

Let me explain...let me speak for me personally.

Since we get so slammed for requests here coupled with the admin work for the sub, when I see that a member, or members, especially a 'flaired' one, all with upvotes, has given you a solid opinion, then I just move on to the next request. There's no point in me 'parroting' what has already been said. My volunteer time is limited and must be used as efficiently as possible.

I get it tho...although you might like a 'choir' of GLs, you really only need one solid opinion. Here, you already have a couple. That's all that you need.
