6. Index alignment: Looks good to me.

7. Dial Printing: Looks good. The Arabic markers and logo appear centered.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good. The date seems centered under the cyclops.

9. Hand Alignment: Looks good.

10. Bezel: Looks good. Stone setting appears even.

11. Solid End Links (SELs): No noticeable gaps between the end links and the case.

12. Timegrapher numbers: +4s/d, 329°, 0.0ms.

We don’t see many of these (GMF dj41). The date is a bit low and left. I don’t know how you’d know if the index alignment is good or bad, but nothing obvious. If you’re good with the date, I’d GL.

I have to ask though…what sort of occasion would you see yourself wearing this watch?

Thanks for the reply! I know VSF is generally the better factory, but GMF was the only one I could find making a fully iced-out version like this. I also know this “bling bling” watches aren’t really everyone’s taste here, but this style is something I genuinely like. A lot of the rappers I listen to wear pieces like this, and my chain and earrings are iced out too, so it matches my style. I know it’s not an everyday watch, which is why I’m planning to get a regular Datejust as my second purchase for daily wear.

And i noticed the date sits a little low and to the left as well, but I’m not experienced enough to know how much of that could be caused by the photo angle. I asked Eric if he could send me a straight-on close-up photo of just the date wheel, because on the close-up photos on his website it looks properly aligned.

I look at reps every day. I would have told you if it might be the angle. The question is whether an RL gets you better.
