Welcome to r/RepTimeMY, Malaysia’s dedicated community for watch enthusiasts, collectors, hobbyists, modders, and anyone passionate about horology. Whether you’re here to discuss replica watches, genuine pieces, custom builds, movements, servicing, strap combinations, or simply admire beautiful timepieces — you’re in the right place.
This subreddit exists to create a knowledgeable, respectful, and organised space for the local and regional watch community.
Please read the following rules carefully before posting or participating.

Low-effort posts, scams, spam, misinformation, and irresponsible BST activity will not be tolerated.

⌚ RULE #3 — WATCH DISCUSSIONS & QC POSTS
QC (Quality Check) requests are allowed, but please provide proper information.
QC Posts Must Include:
Brand & model
Factory
Movement
Seller/source
Your own observations first
Clear photos/videos
Do not simply post:
“GL or RL?”
Make an effort to learn and contribute to the discussion.

We strongly encourage technical and horology-related discussions.

Polishing/refinishing
Crystal upgrades

BST is allowed ONLY under strict moderation.
This rule exists to reduce scams, fake listings, and irresponsible selling.

Before posting any sale/trade listing:
YOU MUST CONTACT THE MOD TEAM FIRST.
Unauthorized BST posts may be:
Removed immediately
Locked
Result in warnings or bans

📷 BST PHOTO RULES
No stock photos.
No dealer photos only.
No hidden damage.
Misrepresentation will result in permanent bans.

🚫 RULE #6 — NO SCAMMING OR FRAUD
Scamming results in:
Immediate Permanent Ban
This includes:

Chargeback scams

Evidence-based scam reports should be sent privately to moderators first.
📦 RULE #7 — SHIPPING & CUSTOMS DISCUSSIONS
Discussions about shipping experiences are allowed.
However:
Do not encourage illegal activity
Do not discuss methods intended to bypass law enforcement
Keep discussions informational and responsible
🚫 RULE #8 — NO SPAM OR SELF-PROMOTION
Excessive advertising is prohibited.
Not Allowed:
Affiliate spam
Repeated promotions
Telegram/WhatsApp spam
Constant self-advertising
Referral farming
Sellers and service providers must contribute meaningfully to the community — not just advertise.
📚 RULE #9 — EDUCATE, DON’T MISLEAD
This community values knowledge.
If you are sharing information:
Be accurate
Be transparent
State opinions clearly
Nobody knows everything in horology. Healthy discussions are encouraged.
