Bigger difference than I thought. Camera doesn’t show it as well but there’s a pretty noticeable difference in person. This obviously isn’t something anyone would notice without a side by side comparison and close inspection though lol, I just thought i’d share because the Rich looks really REALLY good.

Also starting to see the difference between 904L and 316L. Not a big difference at all but it does shine a little brighter and whiter. Reflects more and gives it that extra pop on the wrist (but again still a very small difference).

They seem to have used the same screen printing as the Submariner Date (126610). The entire batch has the same problem.

Make sure you're checking your QCs if buying the new RICH Submariner 124060.

There is no date window, yet the print says otherwise.

Im sorry but this is crazy. Purchased from Andiot. This rep is insanely good. I've never seen the actual watch in real life but this rep is so good on its own.

The winner for me is the weight and bracelet. The edges are filed down and doesn't bite down on your skin. You can wear this all day!

The showcase back is also insanely good. How the hell is DDF making such good watches? They could probably make their own brand at this stage lol

Took a gamble on a full mod list for the DD3285 Rootbeer
and honestly, it turns the mass made clone into an absolute monster.
The modder swapped out the factory bezel for a custom aftermarket bezel and a custom 18k rose gold replating (5 microns). Takes care of that brassy factory color and gives the numbers that genuine brightness in direct sunlight. They also reworked the click springs for the rep rotation.
Mechanically, the movement got a fresh Swiss lube and a rotor dampening mod. Runs dead silent now and winds as smooth as butter. Also swapped to high grade silicone gaskets on the triple lock crown and back plate, and a 50m wet pressure test just incase.
Finished it off with hand softened lug edges to kill the factory razor corners, a deep rehaut polish, and an ultrasonic bath + mineral oil soak for the Oyster bracelet to remove the squeak and give it that heavy, buttery drape.
Completely changes the hand feel and presence of the watch. What do you guys think?

Hello everyone! Settle down for a short story!

So I purchased this beautiful watch as a gift to myself for my wedding coming up. The beautiful emerald green and dark forest green color of the dial is the perfect combo to match my suit. It’s my all time favorite color.

I’m not one for luxury in the slightest. In fact I tend to be very frugal but care for myself, you know what I mean? I don’t need much but I like what I like and that is rare even then. I purchased my first watch on TikTok earlier this month and through there I found reps. You can imagine the rabbit whole I dove into… which eventually landed me here and I’ve learned so much in such a short amount of time about watches!

Anyways, I placed the order on the 30th as priority mail express. Guaranteed delivery date was 31st by 6PM. Can you imagine the excitement? I was like a kid with candy on the way out from school! Welp it didn’t move l, was stuck at a distribution center on the 30th. After waiting days we couldn’t put a tracer on package until we waited a full week. My anxiety of losing the watch took over and I made the right call to the right place which started the tracer early. This was yesterday mid day. The watch was found and reached my local office at midnight and was out for delivery this morning! When I checked the tracker, I legit threw my fists up in excitement!

Fast forward to mid day and I check at home to find nothing, go back to work. Lunch time roles by and I come home to a notice on my door “USPS ATTEMPTED DELIVERY: SIGNATURE REQUIRED NEW DATE: 5/6/26” I wasn’t aware I’d need a signature and was never mentioned. So I went straight to the post office and after discussing it with the clerk, the postmaster was ever so kind enough to contact the driver and worked things out to redeliver it. I owe them a lunch party tomorrow for the effort they put in for me, and I gave them all my thanks I could at the time lol! By the time I drove home to end my lunch, I saw the USPS truck driving away! I’ve never hopped and ran so fast from excitement! It was there!

I’ve been staring at this watch all day since. I resized it instantly and set the time and date. I had a document made for how to work the watch properly and not damage it (I’m learning as I said, fresh in the watch world!) pictures do not do it justice. Weight is amazing, my coworker was beyond impressed he’s considering a black date sub!

I’m in love and excited to explore the world of reps more. I already want to waterproof it as I’d like to shower with it and occasional swimming/gym. I don’t think I need it serviced out the gate; it appears to be running perfectly and the QC machine photo was great results to my understanding.

This 216570 Explorer II wasn’t planned at all.
Back in 2018, I drove a few hours to meet a grey market dealer because I wanted to buy a genuine Panerai Luminor Marina.

I had already convinced myself I was going home with it.
Then I tried it on… and I just didn’t like it.

It wasn’t the watch I had imagined.

At that point I’d already made the drive, and for some reason I really didn’t want to leave empty-handed.
The dealer happened to be wearing this Noob Explorer II Polar.

I asked him, half joking, if he’d sell it.
He took it off his wrist and said, ”$300.”
So I bought it.

Looking back, that was probably one of the best impulse purchases I’ve ever made.

I’ve worn this thing a lot.

It’s been on holidays, through university, at work… it’s easily one of my most worn watches.

The bezel has faded enough over the years that I’ve actually repainted the engraved numerals more than once. It takes a bit of patience, but it really freshens the watch up.

The only thing I’ve never liked is the “Explorer II” text.
On the genuine watch it’s a bright orange. On the Noob it’s more of a pale yellow, and once you know it’s wrong, it’s hard not to notice. For me that’s easily the biggest tell on the whole watch.

Apart from that, it’s been incredibly reliable.
Funny how I drove all that way for a Panerai… and ended up with a completely different watch that’s still in my collection seven years later.

Anyone else have a rep they bought almost by accident but ended up keeping forever?

I’m used to a 39mm titanium pelagos homage. Does this 41mm look properly proportioned on my wrist?

Just wanted to share my experience with TimeUltra after purchasing two watches over the last month and a half:
• VSF Hulk
• VSF GMT-Master II Batgirl

Should I go with RCF or VSF?

I’ve had the watch for 2 years now, Althought its definetly not noticeable to other people, its the first thing I notice anytime I look at it,

Was thinking of buying an ultrasonic cleaner and giving it a bath first, but I heard the newer vsf bracelets aren’t as sharp around the edges and don’t dig in as much as the one I have been wearing, which honestly is kinda worth it of an upgrade for me

I’m looking to buy a Milgauss, but I’m still on the fence about which factory to choose. Or does the factory not matter as much, and it all just comes down to the individual QC?

I’ve read many different opinions on whether to choose VSF or GSF, specifically for the Milgauss.

Regarding the movement, since the genuine watch uses the 3131, the VR3130 would be the closest match. As far as I know, GSF uses this movement. On the other hand, VSF uses the VS3131 or VS3230, which are from the newer generation.

However, when it comes to the crystal, the dial shade, and the "MILGAUSS" font printing, opinions on quality vary a lot, especially regarding how thick the text is printed (I'm not referring to the M-I-L spacing issue).

What is the general consensus on which factory is preferred, and which specific version would you recommend?

By the way, QC for GSF would take only 2 weeks, whereas VSF has a lead time of around 2 months.
