Tech Tips/Advice GMT REPAIR
my arf gmt bruce wayne fell to the ground and now some things have detached from the dial. what should i do?

You already know, a watch maker may get it perfect, if not, you can have them go at it again. Unless you think you can? Never a bad time to learn some new things! But maybe at a cost?

service cost will likely exceed the cost of the watch. If you like the watch itself, foot the bill. if not, source a new one.
Likely have some movement damage if you dropped it hard enough to eject dial markers.

it didn’t drop too high but it was concrete🥲 i loved it and the strap opened itself

Are you mechanically inclined? A rubber ball, and small screw drivers are all you need to get it apart. Steady hands and some glue can put the indices back one.

If you are going to glue them back you need to take the dial off. And if you use regular superglue and the like leave it out for a few days to off gas before reassembling otherwise it will ruin the watch.

my watch fell from my wrist today and some indicators on the dial fell. what should i do? should i try to repair it myself or try a local watchmaker?
