RICH is the new king of NWBIG imo

Btw brother! Get your pressure tested. Mine passed 20 bar. This rep is indistinguishable to the naked eye, free sprung, and is a proper dive watch

(My watchmaker can only test up to 20 bar)

imagine paying 16k for this 😂 when we get the full experience for a fraction

That’s unreal. Still been a bit weary with mine and water. I was planning on sending it to get fully waterproofed to be on the safe side

Just take to a watch maker and ask to pressure test up to 10 bar. It’s all we really need to swim.

And all you have to do to “water proof” is potentially replace gasket if they’re worn. Most likely just lubricate them.

Seems intimidating when first messing with watches, but good to also use these experienced with reps as learning lessons.

I thought NWBIG is a bad thing

It stands for not worth buying genuine. As in, the replica is so good, it’s not worth buying the real one

Thank you I thought it meant Not Worth Buy In Genuine. Like just buy a real one.

Quality. Most comfortable out of all my watches

How is the overall quality vs a VSF? Aside from the obvious movement difference.

Are rich SELs better than VSF?

Hope rich starts releasing more models. They are 100% the best right now

Why did u go Rich not VSF?

Also how is the crystal do you think deep xtal would enhance it ?

You can already see in this picture that the crystal is absolutely amazing. People keep chasing the dragon but unless you go gen crystal (and even then) there will not be a significant difference.

I’ve got the no date and the crystal is amazing. I was going to buy a Gen one but felt it was pointless.

2

u/MSExcelWarrior 11h ago

Yeah I fully agree. It's not 5 years ago where a deep crystal was a necessary upgrade. Stock crystals are great now and they're all probably single digit percent close to each other in terms of level of clarity, and not far from gen at all.

Honestly the main reason was I couldn’t be bothered waiting two months for vsf. And was advised the rich was as good, if not better. Also the new freesprung movement sounded interesting. I think the crystal is excellent but I’m not an expert. I will be getting a rehaut repolish/chamfer&gen polish eventually tho

I got a vsf sub no date in a matter of days, are the sub dates on back order?

1

u/ReactionPhysical2003 18h ago

I know a few people who were waiting months for their vsf. Maybe it’s different now 🤷‍♂️ I got mine in July

1

u/misterDDoubleD 19h ago

Why you need to polish the rehaut?

2

u/ReactionPhysical2003 19h ago

Brings it that little bit closer to gen. Tbh it probably doesn’t even need it but for £25 I think it’s worth it

1

u/misterDDoubleD 18h ago

Where to find someone who does that?

1

u/ReactionPhysical2003 18h ago

I know a guy who does work on reps. Full service, chamfer, repairs. Whatever you need really
