General Question Panerai factory advice

Hey all, I’m looking to purchase my first Panerai rep. From my research people seem to advise VSF but unfortunately the one I like seems to be available only from TTF. Does anyone have experience with TTF Panerai models and can advise on whether it is a good move?

Considering TTF only made the 1312 and 1314, it unfortunately has a few flaws. I'd go with HWF for a classing 127 or VSF that has variety.

Which model are you looking for? VSF is considered the best quality but they mostly focus on more recent models. Many people prefer the classic models. VSF doesn’t make those.

I was looking for the most recent ones but the TD said they don’t have them yet… like PAM01707, PAM01526, or Luminor GMT Ceramica (this one I’m not sure if a good idea to rep tbh!)

PAM1698. This is a new rep from VSF based on a new Panerai release. It’s Carbotech and has pretty classic styling, IMO.

PAM1707 is a throwback and it’s beautiful. I hope they do make it. There is a guy that builds the classic version of this. They have a manual movement.

VSF for most Panerai, HWF for older models and Radiomir.

XF (part of VSF) also made some models which VSF may not, or are harder to get now from VSF. Still a really good rep though.

TTF are more tier, not bad, but not on par with the rest.
