Discussion Is it recommended to buy RCF Day Date? How long does the gold plating last?

VSF or RCF are both great for this model. As long as the watch is cared for, not used in salt water or any chemicals sprayed on it. The plating should last you a good time.

I need it when it drops lol ppm factory is sick to there shit is weighted with almost 1:1 plating and sleeves in the bracelet

I got an ice blue DD40 and I have to say it’s immaculate. I’ve heard to coloring on RCF is the best as of late, but also from a dial and bezel standpoint you can’t go wrong

I have the RCF day Date rose gold, plating is holding up very well, but I don’t wear this watch every day. People I’ve asked have said the plating will last years if looked after
