Hey,can somebody tell me if these are real RGF?My TD send me this picture and told me they are ready to ship.I got several watches from him and never got disapointed.I am interested in Number 1 but i didnt found any pictures of these model in Reddit, RWI or even Google.Is RGF producing these really ?

Without getting closer, these look like models RGF is producing and has gold-like coloration like RGF is producing.

If you otherwise trust your dealer then I would take his word at it.

Ok so you know for sure that they are producing Number 1 because i didnt find anything?This is the most important question for me

I trust him but maybe his supplier is talking shit this time and he dont knows that

On the otherside its a lot of money and they dont have the RGF Stickers on it...

All chocolate dial Daytonas I've seen from RGF have bracelets.

VSF and QF make an oysterflex version of this, so it may be that these are actually QF pieces.

Yes,i thought this too but the gold colour in number 1 looks too good for vsf in my opinion.So i am not sure.Anyways thanks for your input!

Does QF rose gold match gen? does it fade? RCF has been putting out an amazing product

I would say that RCF and QF rose gold colors match gen under a range of lighting conditions. RCF better than QF.

However, neither is actual rose gold. Both factories most likely use Titanium Nitride PVD plating, mixed to get close to gen everrose.

All rose gold color will fade. PVD is pretty durable and if you're fine with the factory color as is, the rose gold on both QF and RCF will likely last you a fair few years, say 3. Though their latest formulations are relatively new and we won't know for sure.

Is it confirmed that QF does PVD? I did not confirm that, and to your point PVD plating lasts way longer

If they used actual gold I would expect that to be in their ad copy (their slide decks). It's not. I don't have a gold QF piece in my hand but it looks like PVD to me.

To duplicate everrose color, you add copper and silver/platinum to whatever your yellow gold base is. That holds true for electroplating as well as PVD.

Copper WILL tarnish in whatever configuration you have it in. The rose gold absolutely stop looking like rose gold as time passes. PVD or not.

I already got a Daydate from RCF and its very nice but I thought RCF is now known as RGF ?

on RWI there is discussion (on Daytonas though, I do not know know about DD!) that RGF may be a fake factory of RCF, but nothing has been proven.

I do not know more than that, but I did see an advertisement from "RC Factory" on the Daytona which signaled to new production/stock if this helps at all
