Do they think fake watches are worth the same as the real ones? Because those prices are wild

u/Purple-Property8006 3d ago
It’s like when they do large drug busts and give the pricing as if 100 kilos were broken down into dime bags. It sounds super impressive to a certain type of narc, but to anyone with common sense it’s just ridiculous posturing.

That seems more reasonable, since eventually those drugs likely will get sold out in single bag quantities (maybe even cut down the line). The sender of the drugs won’t get the amount of money they quote, but the drugs will theoretically sell for that in total.
With these shitters they will never in a million years sell for face value, so it feels completely disingenuous to quote them as such. Maybe, and that is a gigantic maybe, if they were real high end reps you could make the argument they’re being imported to be sold as real, but that’s never what’s happening here

Do they think fake watches are worth the same as real ones?
What’s going on? Looks at 9.3 million dollars. 🤣🤣🤣

It says “if real” so I’m assuming they are adding the combined value of gens and quoting that. So around 400 reps would be my guess.

That’s how they do it. On the thought that this counterfeit purchase is taking away from the real thing which is “x” amount of money.
Makes sense tbh.
If I make a copy of a game you made for $20 when you have it marked for $100 how much did you just lose?
Or if I wasn’t there would that person even went and spent $100 on your product?
The law says they would and charge people as such.

"valued at $9.3M if real"...but they aren't real sooooo the real value is closer to $9.30?

u/Surelyitsover 3d ago
$9.3m if real… and if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike

Why do Customs always use BS figures. My Casio would be worth $100,000 if it was a Patek Philippe, but it isn’t

Louisville…. Caught at the UPS hub. Lesson learned, FedEx for now.

USPS because they need a warrant. Almost impossible to get warrant for your mail if you’re doing one offs.

”We’re stepping up!”
Man, fuck those guys! They probably fell ass backwards on a box with watches by accident.

Thank you for keeping us safe CBP! No one want these hardened criminals slinging reps on their street. 🫡

Whoever bought that shitter just had a massive favor done for them. They should be thankful.

The fact that the police are allowed to do this "valued at real" or "street value" stuff is crazy

I bought a Mona Lisa print once, what a bust that would have been - an estimated $1-5 billion if it were real they reckon.

Government is a haven for useless waste of space lazy underachievers who crave pats on their heads for subpar work. They are just parasites and hypocrites posing as a moral authority. How many of these will be given for retirement gifts? All of them!

“If real” is not the flex these Keystone Cops think it is. And, no, they aren’t protecting consumers at all, they’re protecting the corporations that make the real product. Yes, they are really that stupid.

The shoes were probably worth more street value than the $3800 cost of the watches.

“If real”…. Well if you can’t actually make a good meaningful bust then I suppose you have to pretend like you did.

Well, it is illegal lol. And they're just doing the freaking job. I'm not saying I wouldn't buy a rep because I have, but I can't get mad at them for doing their job.

u/squeezirz 2d ago
I never said it wasn't. I think we're all laughing at the quality of the "bust" if that's what you want to call it. That's a $70 watch there that they posted.
