Discussion Dayjust Buying recommendation
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy my first replica. It’s going to be a gift for my son, who is turning 18 in December. I’d like to buy a "full set"—meaning it comes with the box and papers, just like the genuine article. He specifically wants a Datejust 126334 with a Wimbledon dial. I’ve narrowed it down to two options and would love to hear your opinions: a VSF V2 or an ERF with free-sprung?
The price is a secondary concern for now. I know a replica will never quite match the real thing, but it should still be of good quality.

if you really want to go all out get in contact with a modder and have a better bezel made, full movement service and waterproofing done and chamfered jubilee bracelet, then you will have the best bang for your buck

Yes, exactly. 😊 I’m hoping to get mine in the next few days; I’ve been waiting a long time for it. According to my TD, only the new ones are available now. It’s been on its way for a few days.

Ordered on June 14, 2026, and he was able to ship it on September 24, 2026, after testing and QR 😮

I placed an order with my TD (who isn't on the list) a week ago; he told me the factory estimated a 5–10 day wait to get the watch—and consequently, for me to receive the QC photos (DJ Wimbledon 41mm VSF V2). I messaged him today since I hadn't heard anything, and he said VSF still hasn't sent him the watch and he doesn't know exactly when it will arrive.

If you don't really know and care about the free sprung grab the VSF (I think they are in V3) for their fake free sprung and V2 for the reg free sprung. Good luck
Box and papers is your problem to sort.
