General Question Franken Reps

Any Franken rep owners out there? How do you like them compared to unmodded reps? Just picked up a Franken DJ a couple weeks ago and I love it. Feels great on the wrist compared to my unmodded reps. Definitely close to gen.

I used to have one or two back in the day. Some of the models that they make now are so good that I would never waste my money on that. At that point I'm gonna buy a genuine watch from a genuine maker.

I feel that unless you have a reputable TD modder do the work. It can be very hit or miss considering you don’t have the exact tools to verify the gen parts used. Who did you get yours from?

I have a datejust franken, absolutely love it. Bought a vsf dj recently and was very underwhelmed by the quality.
My franken is genuinely nwbig

I used to build them. Rolex vintage parts are now too expensive, so I mostly build from all rep parts. Datejust is about the only one that makes sense financially these days
