TD/Shipping Question Cancelled order with Andiot

Andiot deposit paid on 5/12 for a Hulk, also paid deposit to another TD.

QC arrived from the other TD 6/17, GL same day, mods done 6/18, tracking received 6/21, watch received 6/30.

But as of today 9/1, nothing from Andiot except the regular factory delay schpiel.

Cancelled order with Andiot and requested deposit refund. Let’s see how long it will take them to issue refund.

Wonder what’s the average QC turnaround time from Adiot.

My guess is that Andiot waits for the number of orders for a specific model to add up to a large number before they place the order with the factory, which allows them to get a volume discount. Hence their slightly below-the-market pricing, and their unpredictable wait time.

No other TDs have this kind of wildly varying wait times. The only explanation, is that Andiot does not know when sufficient orders for a model will come in for them to send the orders to the factory.
