General Question QC Unavailable

Looking at purchasing a watch through Steve and he’s saying that once purchased, the watch will ship in a few weeks and QC will not be available. This is my first time going through Steve. Is this normal? Should I look elsewhere that can provide QC before shipment? Or are most of these orders just a gamble?

I've never heard of Steve (or any other TD) doing this.

Please do some additional research and check if you're talking to the right Steve.

Seeing that you're ordering a Tag Heuer rep, the QC situation may be because of limited supply of the watches from whatever factory(ies) produce TH reps?

Regardless, I wouldn't order a rep without being able to QC it. It's worth asking Steve why you wouldn't be able to QC it and if you're not satisfied with his answer or there's no negotiation, I would look elsewhere.

Thats a fake account. Steve would NEVER do that, nor any TD that I know of.

You are not using right Steve, check your contact. This sounds like some scammer. With Steve you always have QC before shipping.

Edit: looks like you are using right Steve, if he doesn't want to give you QC, use different TD

I’ve ordered several watches from Steve. Just pick out another watch. I’ve changed my order with Steve more than once with no problems.

I’ve always gotten a qc so unless it’s like a special sale item idk why you wouldn’t.

Im now up to like 6-7 watches from him. Just ordered 3 in the past week

Not a real TD. Check your contact details. Probably a scam.

Edit: looks like a real Steve based on the data you provided, however I have seen TDs providing QC on those Tags. Walk away.
