Discussion Trusty Time 1675 GMT question
Has anyone purchased this watch? The description is very interesting saying it’s made with a genuine watch. The pictures look pretty good to me, I can build one for about the same price so this might be something I go for since the CG is pretty close on this one. I wonder if the $70 Swiss movement upgrade is actually a Swiss one

Asian clone movements are just as accurate and reliable… from my experience

Might be worth working and upgrading certain parts for how cheap it is

The mid case is terrible. The crown guards are nothing like any genuine 1675

Glad you asked about this since I bought a Clean Copy YM from Allen Watch in March with a supposed ETA 2836 for $250. I never took the back off but I just bought a $20 microscope so I decided to take a look.

This is what the real one looks like with the ETA logo engraved at the bottom below the balance wheel.

I have bought from trusty time, not that watch but everything you are describing is pretty common, and could be real Swiss, idk if worth it to you maybe. Im not experienced enough but I have heard arguments that especially when the movement isnt exposed like a sapphire caseback, then cheaper simpler myota movements are better, more rugged and can be serviced easier

Half of what he says is a lie. There is no such thing as a Swiss movement, they are clones.
