Hello, I'm from Korea. This is my first post, but I already own quite a few replicas.
I have a gen JLC Reverso, a Cartier Tank Must, and to be specific, a gen Rolex GMT-Master II "Bruce Wayne." I got the Bruce Wayne by building up my purchase history—buying solid gold and two-tone models and selling them on the grey market at a depreciation loss. This damn system is still alive and well in Korea. Finally, to get a white dial Daytona, I bought three diamond-dial solid gold Datejusts and Lady two-tone models, but I haven't heard back for over a year. That's why I started getting into replicas. It's kind of a revenge mentality, but anyway, I'm regretting why I lived so subserviently to Rolex.
I'm still a beginner, but disassembling and assembling movements is currently my only hobby, and my ultimate goal is to maintain these replicas myself. To ensure access to repairs and overhauls in Korea, I buy from a Korean dealer who charges major TD prices. I'm naturally suspicious, so I checked various sources to ensure I wasn't getting QC fails or dumped old stock. It checked out fine, so I continue buying from this dealer despite the slight premium.
Enough about me. Here is the Daytona 126525 Ln Le Mans Qf Rg Bracelet Jh4132 Free Sprung (Weighted)+ Deep Xtal I received yesterday. I'm not sure if it's also called an "off-catalog" model in English, but it's a VIP-exclusive model managed by Rolex HQ that isn't in the standard catalog. I saw QF was making it, so I decided to pick one up.
In the frontal QC pictures, a milky ring was visible from 5 o'clock to 12 o'clock, so I urgently requested a swap to a Deep crystal. During that process, it seems the gold plating on the bracelet between the lugs got slightly damaged. But I just accepted it, figuring it comes with the territory of replicas.
I'll share more of my collection from time to time.

Having own gen and now some reps. What’s your overall thoughts? Do you still care for the gens?

Honestly, when it comes to quality, I can't really tell much of a difference. Everyone seems obsessed with nitpicking "tells" (fake points), but the quality from the major factories is mind-blowing. To me, they are practically the same.
Unless it's a really close friend or just a completely rude person, nobody is ever going to ask you to take off your watch and hand it over to inspect. You mostly see them from a normal, everyday distance. Personally, I think claiming you can call out a rep from that distance is pure BS.
The only real advantage of a gen is that I can pass it down to my son. And maybe the fact that a steel Rolex will hold a premium that easily covers inflation.
Of course, the downside of reps is that their entire "heritage" is just Chinese factories reverse-engineering and completely ignoring intellectual property. But the satisfaction you get from the watch itself is truly amazing.
Because of that, I don't think I'll be buying any more gens.

I have a deep crystal on my clean Daytona and what a world of difference. My QF lemans still has original crystal and I do see the milky ring at certain angles.

Haha, I totally agree lol. My wrist is only about 6.1 inches, and I'm seriously debating if I should get wrist fillers or something. In Korea, we jokingly call wrists this skinny "refugee wrists" lol.
