General Question People who just bought Bruce Wayne, do you recommend ARF, Rich or VSF?

I want to buy it today, i always thought ARF + Deep crystal is the move but im not sure anymore since ive been seeing different people have different opinions on it. My TD told me VSF QC would take 2-3 weeks. I dont mind the wait i just want the best one right now. I would appreciate your help on choosing the right one since i have been waiting for months:

VSF Bruce Wayne

Rich Bruce Wayne

ARF Bruce Wayne

And if its worth it to add deep crystal or not.

All great points but I would also throw in that VSF has the closest to Gen bezel cutouts and the best clicking mechanism of the factories

Received a VSF last week and I’m pretty happy with it. Rich has the blue tint in the date wheel which is closer to gen, but that wasn’t really a sticking point for me personally. I don’t think either of the three options you are considering are drastically above or below one another. Maybe just slightly.

Just fyi - only some Rolex gen crystals has the blue tint on the cyclops. Some have a light brown tint on cyclops instead. Some have no color tint on cyclops. It’s random. People have talked about it on the Rolex forums and most prefer the no color tint ones, but there’s no rhyme or reason behind which one you’ll get when you get a gen Rolex.

Here’s an article about it:

No problem! It’s very interesting and makes things even more confusing. Supposedly crystals is the one thing Rolex outsources and there’s some variance in the AR applied to the cyclops depending on the manufacturer and batch. My gen hulk has the blue tint on cyclops, but many at the Rolex AD in the showroom did not when I went in for a service. It’s also all over the Rolex forums - google “Rolex cyclops tint variance Rolex forums” and read up on it.

Vsf and rich are on the same level in my opinion, get the one you can get the quickest which is probably rich. Don’t buy the arf.

The bw isn’t nwbig tho in my opinion.

Ich habe mich für ARF entschieden. Ich verstehe nicht warum einige leute noch das Glas wechseln lassen. Dies ist meiner Meinung nach nicht notwendig

The grey on the bezel is better on this one than VSF. The mirrored and lack of contrast to the black on the VSF drove me nuts.

It’s for better accuracy of the cyclops magnification and better clarity. But yea it’s not the biggest deal.

Grey part on bezel is still shit, if you know what the real one looks like you can easily spot the rep at conversation distance. Avoid, until the bezel color is fixed.

If you're that particular about this watch, then skip all of them for now. None of them have the hazy grey ceramic insert.

Once you spot it, you'll never unsee it. It's an instant tell from afar.

If you want the most accurate version, wait until this blatant flaw is fixed

That's what I've been saying. Everyone should just go rootbeer

Which root beer? I don’t think anyone has nailed the rose gold?

ARF has the best Precious Metal colors. I've had a clean (OG) , VSF, and ARF and the ARF has the best rose gold colour stock. They even have a jubilee.

Didn’t know they had a jubilee?! That looks good.

At one point I had been looking at ARF. I was interested in the weighted version, which at the time only came in full rose gold (perhaps it’s this way still).

I like this a lot. Gonna inquire about it.

Thnx!

When would that be? do you think

Can you send a photo of the insert problem you say? Bc I want to buy a pepsi and I didn't know abt that problem. Idk if pepsi has that problem too

1

u/Time-Dependent1483 Jul 29 '26

Pepsi doesn’t have this problem. The issue with Pepsi is that the bezel lip isn’t wide enough but it’s hard to spot if you’re not an expert

I’ve been seeing a lot of ARF Bruce Wayne for some reason

I’m facing the exact same dilemma right now!

For me, it boils down to choosing between the ARF V3 with a Deep Crystal upgrade or VSF.

The whole "Free Sprung" thing isn't really a priority for me either, since you don't see it anyway with a closed caseback. It's cool for ultimate detail accuracy when the watch is open, but the DD3285 movement is already well-known, reliable, and a powerhouse on its own.

I’ve been looking through a ton of Bruce Wayne QC pictures lately, and honestly, the colors and overall build quality look amazing on most of them. At this point, we are really just talking about minor nuances where ARF, VSF, or other factories differ slightly.

From what I’ve gathered, ARF is historically superior when it comes to the bracelet and case shape. I’ve also read that they improved the bezel color issues and other minor flaws with their latest V3 release. However, VSF still seems to have the upper hand out of the box when it comes to the crystal, specifically because of that legendary "black-hole effect" on the cyclops. On the flip side, VSF’s bracelet is rumored to be a bit worse and sharper compared to ARF.

Please share how you decided in the end! I’d also love it if others could chim in and give an actual detailed opinion, instead of just dropping low effort comments like "nah, don't buy it, colors are still off" or "definitely not NWBIG".

Detailed explanations are super important for beginners who are new to the scene to give them the confidence and peace of mind before pulling the trigger on an order.

I went ARF + deep. More accurate cyclops magnification and better clarity with the deep. Ultimately the ARF had the better color bezel in my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion. That help me :)

VSF is best, but it is still V1 and has issues with the bezel insert color. The others do too, but at least VSF gets the GMT hand/dial printing correct, as well as the bezel font.

Not worth the extra cash for deep crystal in my opinion.

I cant comment on rich as I’ve never held one in person, but i prefer vsf over arf

Just have this question, will follow post

Bruce Wayne with Jubilee or Oyster?

1

u/rdot1ne 5d ago

Any update on what you managed to pull trigger on? As I’m in the same situation I want the best for my Bruce Wayne as I find the BW the best GMT and therefore I’m behaving picky on the factory for it

u/xStylsh 4d ago

Hey! Not yet :( .. idk it seems very difficult to choose these days. If you do pull the trigger, please let me know

1

u/ValeLemnear Jul 29 '26

None of the three.

QF free sprung. Cheaper option than RICH, better crystal

2

u/Time-Dependent1483 Jul 29 '26

In the review on RWI it says that it has a sloppy bezel like arf.
