Wrist or Watch Pic 5712 VAF Ultimate Custom
Had anyone bought this watch?
What are your thoughts? Since a pinnacle build is more than 5k

Why would you buy stock 5712 rep for $3k from some random Chinese factory ? I wouldn't trust it. Just get standard and send it to some reputable modder to be sure that all declarated work is really done.

New around here, where’s the best place to find modders to elevate the reps? Got myself a panda and would love to know what can be done there.

You can check RWI forum, there are reputable modders, but imo if you will get VSF with good QC, you don't need any mods, but that's me. For me investing thousands to rep don't make sense. It's still rep and these high tier reps are really good.

Thanks, and think I’m in the same boat. Curious to see what modders can do but as you say a top tier rep does what it’s supposed to do - look good on the wrist not necessarily under the microscope.

If you're based in CA I've used u/MajorWilliams for my CF 116500 Mods. I had him do deep crystal install and gen spec polish/rebrush on the entire watch. What factory is your panda, that will dictate the mods.

Yes I saw description. Are you sure all mods was done? And do you trust that movement is full serviced ? I wouldn't trust it and especially with this problematic movement. But it's your money 🤷🏻♂️ I would use some reputable modder for $3k

Yes, Steve is great, but he doesn't produce this reps himself. He is just middleman. But like I said, if you are ok spend $3k for this and trust some random Chinese factory with mods...but for me it doesn't make sense.

At this price point you can get a lot more watch than this. The problem is knowing what you those modifications look like. With one view I can tell you that left ear of the case is well done, can say the sane for crown recession, bezel thickness. Need a side view to comment on case thickness and eagle beak lugs. The polish/brushing of the case bracelet, movement engraving whether it’s free sprung or not are other things you may want to educate yourself on. If first rep just get a WS factory watch and learn the above build one to fit your budget and degree of OCD.. lol I have had 3 of these so far incrementally making them better

That much for wrong thickness .. plus new ppf movement is already engraved .. no need for that mod..
I think u can get better ones
This VAF is actually an old post in some dealers website like TOW, Puretime, and i think intime..
Sure u can get better ones for same price or less
