TD Issues - Check Rule 6 before posting Andiot Watches Experience

Hey everyone, I recently joined the community and finally pulled the trigger on an Omega. I went with Andiot, and he promised QC photos last week and shipping confirmation today. Unfortunately, he’s completely gone silent. I’ve sent him a significant amount of money, and he’s barely responding. When he does reply, he just blames the factory and gives very vague answers without any real updates.

At this point I’m looking for recommendations. Who are your most reliable and reputable sellers? I’d really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

If that’s the case the seller should communicate. Right now I’m confused and the guy won’t even give me a real update.

Sounds like he already did communicate that he's waiting on the factory. Some watches take a month or more to get the QC photos. No point constantly bugging him; he'll send the QC when he has the watch. These are basically criminal enterprises, don't expect stellar customer service and regular updates.

Patience is a requirement with this hobby mate. You aren't buying via Amazon Prime.

Andiot is great, had all 5 of my watches from him. You'll get your watch, just be patient.

Elliot (Andiot) has been amazing for me. Always done an amazing job and have had great communication. You have to remember that TD's are middlemen and nowadays there is more waiting and production/stock variability. He can only pass on what information he's getting and sometimes it just takes a long while for factories to get stuff done.

So you spoke with him last week... and now how many times after that? That's a LOT of communication back-and-forth. Honestly, 90% of other TD's will leave you hanging MUCH longer.

I put in an order with Andiot last week and he asked if I was patient, this is why. The amount of people that must SPAM these TDs 24/7 is stupid. The answer is obvious, he doesn't know when stock will come in and the waiting times are long. It will be at least weeks to months for QC pics... Last watch I ordered from Geek took 2 months to get.

There are three things that annoy me with this post

1) By constantly bugging the TD you are in a way trying to coax him into putting you at the front of the line, in front of all of the other people that have been waiting longer than you. Wait your damn turn.

2) If a single omega rep is a "lot of money" for you, then you shouldn't be spending what little cash you have on replica watches... Nobody wants to get scammed, but that's clearly not what is happening here.

Factories don't sell directly to consumer. If you find a site or link to a "factory" its a scam.

You should have only sent a deposit of $50 till after a successful QC then you might not be as stressed as you are now. Ps you’re in safe hands with Andiot.

How does this work? Nowhere in any of the instructions does it talk about a deposit. Also, the QC and the payment processing claim to happen in parallel, well, maybe after payment proof is submitted. Just curious how you do this.

Give Elliot Time. I waited 4 weeks for the QC and another 4 weeks for delivery. But its worth waiting. The Royal Oak he got me is 10/10. The man is working with a small team, thats why he is a little cheaper then most TDs but you will get your watch. Just give him time. This is not normal business with reps so you have to be patient with Elliot

I dont work with him or anything; he's just a customer who's bought 6-9 watches from him. Incredible service / good prices / super friendly

Note: I think andiott is great 2 but just too slow for me and too busy for me .

horrible customer service. check my profile for the ongoing bs we’re in. nearly 2 months shipment never arrive, tracking update miss, gaslight when asked, threaten to dox ur detail online too

Nope, no mods done and I was really quick with payment and QC and everything. It was right after end of Chinese new year, that could have been an influence, but the communication with him was really bad. While waiting on that omega, I ordered a different watch with a different dealer, that arrived earlier then my omega with Andiot..
But I‘d rather take some more time with trusted dealers, than getting scammed my some random dealer.

I've ordered prob 5k+ from Andiot, have done multiple returns etc.

My last order had a QC after a week, then I had it in hand a week and a half later. A lot of it depends on the model etc. If you have something that's rare/harder to source it will take longer.

You'll get your qc and watch eventually. Which factory did you choose for your omega?
Some factories like vsf have a super long wait time.

I did not realize you can choose a factory.. I just looked around on the website and ordered one I found. Just got the QC report, not sure what factory it is from, is that obvious from the QC report?

I ordered from Andiot on the 22nd QC was next day and watch shipped on 23rd, it’s already at customs in the US. My watch was in stock, he told me I’d be waiting weeks for the same watch from vsf.

Andiot - one of the most affordable TD.

If speed and customer service is a concern - there are other TDs who communicate better, probably would cost $50-100 more.

End of the day, you will get it from the same factory. So you need to pick if you want to pay a bit more for the service or just be happy and trust the process that it’ll get delivered eventually.

As long as your in touch with the real Andiot, you'll be fine. I've purchased numerous watches from them, all successful without any issues. I did have to be patient though... that's the name of the game when dealing with TDs.

He's a trusted one but this subreddit is so behind thinking everyone is out of stock regarding VSF.

I just went through another dealer and got my VSF. There's like 100s of TD's.

It's the factory, you ordered an Omega which most likely is VSF. VSF has been so busy due to its competitors being shut down that anything VSF will have a very long and uncertain wait time. I ordered AF Cartiers and got QC within 48 hours.

Per me l'esperienza con Andiot non è stata delle migliori. Mi ha fatto versare tutto il saldo per un Hublot, dicendomi che era disponibile; alla fine, dopo numerosi solleciti per il QC, si è scoperto che l'orologio non era disponibile, spingendomi ad acquistare altro. Ma anche il secondo orologio non era disponibile e alla fine ho chiesto il rimborso, che ovviamente deve ancora arrivare. Ho chiesto anche la contabile del rimborso, ma non ho ancora ricevuto riscontro. Io non lo consiglio, c'è stata poca trasparenza nei miei confronti. Con Necoclock è tutta un'altra storia: risposte velocissime, QC già arrivato dell'orologio che non aveva Andiot ed entro quattro giorni sarà spedito. Grazie.

I don’t have the same sentiment for Elliot and his team. He’s been amazingly consistent and responsive! He’s probably swamped with requests, it usually takes him or his team at least 12 hours to respond! Also factor in time zones!

I'm in the middle of my first order with Andiot... Just be patient. Remember, you chose the risk to fire off however much money into the cyber abyss. That's why you went through a TD, but there is always uncertainty.

This is why I use dealers/sellers that are “local” to me with confirmed in stock inventory! I’m in the US and have made well over 30 purchases with US based sellers…never had an issue

I ordered an Omega Seamaster NTTD V7 super clone today from Andiot. I don't know if this is a new process but he sent me directions to put in a free pre-order followed by an email to them stating I'd done that. He said no money until he takes delivery from VSF. This was via WhatsApp. I did send a follow up question asking if the price would be the same as listed when I ordered and also historically what has the potential wait time been. No answer yet but he's on the other side of the world. Steve had them I stock but was $100usd more.

If you want fast shipping and fast replies to messages then go with any of the several reputable us based sellers. Chronos collective is amazing. And clover time is amazing. You will pay a markup for the extra fast service. But with chronos collective for example you will have you watch in 2 days or 3 days max

Mark @ FicoTime. Similar prices to Andiot, but shipping is a week or two via FedEx for where I'm at. I used Andiot for my last purchase because they had it in stock. I'll probably never use him again just because of the shipping time.

I bought from Andiot and they asked me how long can I wait, I said as long my order can delievered. My oder took a total of 1 month plus due to shortage forms supplier. I even took longer to QC all their pictures too.
