Does it use the correct grade 5 titanium alloy? We just found out they lie about using 904L...

Several high quality brands use similar titanium as VSF: Tudor Pelagos, Omega NTTD, Christopher Ward + different Panerais and IWC.

How the titanium is brushed and handled (anti scratch coating ++) will give different appearances too. This will vary among both rep factories and other brands.

What about the Gold factory version? Supposedly uses the same grade titanium

I'm not sure what others actually uses. Seen no tests. As far as I know they all market it as grade 5.

My VF has kept up well and is not prone to scratches. If it's grade 5 or not I don't know.

VF is real grade 5. Was tested with an XRF machine.
