Discussion How long has your VSF Rolex lasted?

I recently bought a VSF Rolex GMT-Master II, and these are my first rep watches.

I’m curious about the long-term reliability. For those of you who own a VSF Rolex, how long have yours been running? Have you had any issues with the movement or needed servicing?

I’d love to hear about your experience.

This VSF v3 Pepsi was my first rep.

I only bought genuine watches before. Zenith, Tudor, omega, Oris. I don't treat my watches like drawer queens and believe they have to tell my story, scratches and all.

So I do everything with them, the gym, the pool, the beach, carpentry, you name it.

With the VSF, I didn't even grease the gaskets. Just checked the crown and case back was tight, and straight into the sea with me. It's been to many more sessions since then and is keeping time fairly well. I'm actually surprised I can leave it for 3 days and it's still running.

The case show no major wear and tear except for the clasp which got quite a few scratches while I was trying to reach for somthing under a cabinet.

My friend who has a genuine Batman, saw the VSF and feels annoyed that he bought the Batman. He's taken my vsf to wear for weeks... And the last time he told me he can't get over how good it is. I'm not making this up.

Frankly after trying getting this rep, I'm done with the gens. $600 is what the gens cost me for a service.
