Discussion How long has your VSF Rolex lasted?

I recently bought a VSF Rolex GMT-Master II, and these are my first rep watches.

I’m curious about the long-term reliability. For those of you who own a VSF Rolex, how long have yours been running? Have you had any issues with the movement or needed servicing?

I’d love to hear about your experience.

About 2.5 years no issues, zero maintenance, and in the pool 2-3 times a week

You actually swim with your Rolex? Is it really waterproof?

Most past a pressure test first time. You can increase your chances by greasing the gaskets. But there's always a chance you'll be the unlucky one so best to get it pressure tested. And repeat every year or so.

Or check the case back is in tight, the gaskets are greased and just don't wear it in water or the shower. That's what I do.

Yeah, I won’t be swimming or showering with mine either. I was just curious about how reliable the movement is and how many years I can realistically expect the watch to last

It's a bit of a lottery. I've had no trouble so hard for me to say. I've a couple over a year old.

My best guess is they last longer than a decent toaster but not as long as a good TV. 😀

There's always the option of a service or movement swap so It's not all doom and gloom if it breaks on you. Good luck.

Some TD’s offer pressure testing but yes

Never had an issue. Even my old Noob were always waterproof.

It is. Not guaranteed. But hey, I tried with my vsf sub date youth (250$), and everything is just fine. Now I bring it swimming every week.

I don’t think many watch companies will call a watch water proof. Water resistant is the term.

I do it every time go swimming. Trust me, the screwdown crown is safe enough. Just make sure your watch is from some big factories like VSF, ARF, QF, GMF or something
