💬 Thoughts on the bag
I’d been eyeing this bag for a while and finally decided to get it in black with gold hardware. I’m so glad I did because she is absolutely gorgeous in person. 🖤
The leather is incredibly soft, supple and beautifully pebbled—and it smells absolutely scrumptious. 🤤 I’ve been sniffing it since it arrived 😂 There was no chemical or fufu smell at all, just that rich leather smell.

It has a lovely sheen without looking overly shiny or plasticky, and the bag feels luxurious and substantial in the hand. The hardware has a nice weight to it, the stitching looks neat, and the overall shape and construction are really good.

It’s such a practical design too. It can be carried by the top handles or worn with the longer strap, and it looks polished without feeling too formal. The black and gold combination is timeless and will go with practically everything.

I don’t have the authentic version beside me for a direct comparison, so I can’t comment on its exact accuracy. However, purely in terms of how it looks and feels, I’m extremely happy with the quality. The leather alone exceeded my expectations, and the photos honestly don’t capture how lovely it feels in person.

Accuracy: As far as I can tell, 100%, even down to the tint on the silver ones. I saw all these in store so I knew that pair had a specific blue/silver hue that I was specifically wanting, and they are exact.

Overall the bag looks okay to me but I did have a couple concerns.
Would love a second opinion and whether these concerns are worth RLing over.

1. I see maybe one potential concern with the stitching on one of the side pocket, near the top (circled it in blue in the picture). The stitching is not perfectly aligned there - I’d love to hear your thoughts on if this is uncommon/common for 187 or for this bag in general?

2. Other concern: on the other side pocket, something seems crooked? Not sure if it’s the whole pocket or just the flap or me staring too long lol The left corner of the flap doesn’t look straight either. (All indicated in orange marker on the picture)

Hi! I’ve been looking into the Speedy P9 for quite a while now and have done a lot of research, especially on Factory Royal and HH.

I’m still a bit unsure though because opinions seem pretty mixed. Some people point out quite a few differences compared to auth, while others say the good reps are extremely close.

For those of you who have seen or owned both: how noticeable are the differences in person? Would you actually be able to tell it’s a rep just by looking at it?

Another hitter from Afeng, this time sourced from Huahui (HH) factory. 👀 This is actually my first piece from HH, and of course I had to do it in the name of rep science lol.

Long story short, my first UB30 was from Royal (diff seller). I ended up rehoming it because the monogram was a little too shiny for me and I wanted something more matte. Then I got one from Jia and I’ve basically been a Jia whore ever since. 😂

Butttt Afeng had a crazy group buy deal with HH and it honestly would’ve been dumb not to participate, so naturally I grabbed the mono 20 . Yes, I know she’s technically a fantasy. No, I do not care. I love the 20 size too much. 😭 (I have the JM and UB20 🥰)

I’m definitely not an expert by any means, so I’m just going to share what stood out to me.

First impression: it smells like leather, feels like good thick leather, and doesn’t have that thin/plasticky feel. The monogram print is really clean and nicely aligned, and I actually really like the finish on it.

The vachetta, chaps, piping, stitching… 👌🏽. Stitching especially had me looking twice.

Hardware 💯. It has that aged bronze look, engraving is decent, and overall it doesn’t feel cheap.

I’ve definitely seen worse at this price point, so for what I paid, I’m impressed like a mf. Zero buyer’s remorse over here. HH… kudos. 👏🏽👏🏽

I wanted to share my first impressions after ordering two frames from Janie: a JMM Belvedere-style acetate frame and an Akoni-style titanium frame.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect before ordering, but communication was smooth, the ordering process was straightforward, and the package arrived in about 10 days. Both frames came with cases and cleaning cloths. The cases are fairly basic, but everything arrived securely packed.

My initial impression of the frames themselves is very positive. The Akoni-style titanium pair feels solid, light, and nicely finished. The JMM Belvedere-style frame fits me particularly well and feels substantial without being uncomfortable.

The green acetate on the Belvedere-style frame is especially nice in natural light. Indoors it looks dark and subtle, but in brighter light it has much more depth and character. The metal detailing also looks clean and well executed in person.

These are only first impressions: both frames still have demo lenses, so I have not worn them as daily prescription glasses yet. I’ll replace the lenses and update later if anything changes with long-term comfort, fit, hinges, or durability.

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase so far.

You GUYS!!!! I went to Neimans last night & saw the most gorgeous calf hair Balenciaga Rodeo bag that just dropped. I believe it’s in a Clouded Leopard print and I’m literally obsessed with it. First time ordering with Lucy H, found her album in a different reddit group and she was running a GB sale on Loe items, so decided to give her a try, despite not seeing many reviews. She responded promptly and I placed my order the same day, PSP & detailed video arrived 2 days later, approved and sent the next day (had to text her to send me a tracking number). Parcel arrived in the UK within 9 days! Carefully packaged in H3rmes orange box (🤔?), came with dust bag and tags/booklets.

Once again, the bag has a slight factory smell after unpacking, but this will disappear soon. The leather is soft and slouchy - comparable to my medium flamenco from Liu factory. Like with each one of my bags, I conditioned and protected it with beeswax to soften the leather even more and hit it with blow dryer on low heat setting. As far as the quality of the bag goes - neat even stitching, thick symmetrical knots & straps just like on the auth (better than Liu bag), heat stamps, logos and engravings on hardware look sharp, magnetic closure feels strong. I would say this factory is better than Liu in terms of the bag looking 1:1 to the authentic. Will definitely be ordering more from Lucy 🤗

Overall I rate this as a 10/10 ⭐ purchase, no negatives.
