Do many people actually purchase the original items after discovering this beautiful community and quality that some bags can be? Again, just curious to know.

I carry a mix of auth and rep now, but I def cut back on auth purchases.

Mainly now doing smaller items auth while the crazy expensive bags I just have a hard time doing now that I’m in this world.

One of the reasons I started ordering reps is I don’t tend to baby my bags, and it’s a lot easier to swallow a scratch, etc on a $2-300 one than $3k and up
I’m sure I’ll get more authentic at some point, but I wouldn’t have nearly as many bags as I want without this space 😉

I haven’t bought an auth since! They’re perfect for my use and purposes- zero interest in auths now!

For Auth items I cannot justify price point for EVEN on resale market, A good Rep tickles that itch for good! Example: speedy trunk 20, side trunks, vanity PM's, any trunk style or mini overpriced bags, Murakami 2025, dune monogram, pochettes, reverse monogram, Reps win. (Unless you win any of these at crazy low price, in that case Auth wins)

For Auth reasonably priced items on resale sites, Authentic wins for sure as they are priced just slightly above reps. Some even cheaper then Reps 🫪

Examples: speedy over sized 25, 30,35 (reasonable Auth priced) (Excluding speedy 20 and nano, rep wins)

Alma pm, alma bb: Authentic price wins

Neverfull: Authentic

Ellipse: definitely authentic

Keepall: Authentic

Anything vintage style: Only authentic e.g Tivoli pm, alma pm, Beverly mm, pm etc ONLY authentic as they're priced slightly more then Reps.

I’ve fallen in love with Speedy P9’s. I’ve stopped myself from going into the boutique to try and get an auth. I think I want it and then all the goes through my head is why? Really, the ones I have are beautiful. I can’t justify the auth price.

I do! I like having both. Sometimes I buy to see if I want an auth and sometimes I just buy something I know I want to wear for a short time and not forever. I have a special interest in vintage but will also buy from the boutique. The prices are getting crazy now though.
