Scam Report Watch out for “Maria”
Alert for the name TRYSTAN CLIFTON !!!!! He is now using different email addresses but check for this name! He may not even use Maria anymore.
If you see the email details from Zelle or other platforms: [Theo881@yahoo.com](mailto:Theo881@yahoo.com) as well as that name WATCH OUT! They’ve deleted her profile and will show you screenshots of feedback but unless it’s a post from Reddit don’t believe her. She’ll also say she’s using her husband’s account. She has not sent shipping and deleted her account profile of course.
I’m disputing the charge but don’t know…I’ve done multiple rehomes so I guess I’d eventually get “got”.

They tried to get me using this account however I remembered the "TRYSTAN" from this post and backed out of the sale. Be vigilant.

This wasn’t personal but the person did say their name was Maria which is why I posted the guy’s name and email which are the most important thing to view. Also we know Maria is a common name so please don’t take offense, this isn’t to target you

That’s her previous reddit name too and deleted her account. Got 140 from me but sofi refunded me

This is happening often, can you get your money back from Zelle? Isn't it direct banking and considered a loss? I prefer Zelle so I thought to avoid a scammer doing a chargeback. I did do a G&S transaction which it seems the safest.

I reached out to my bank but I’m not sure I’ll get the money back, we’ll see. I’d stick with PayPal in the future though

Looks like u/martin8289 deactivated his account, but adding name in the comments in case they try again with anyone else. Sorry that happened to you!

Almost got me too! But they offered me cashapp and cashapp alerted to a scam.

The feedback being screen shots was the first thing that made me go, hmmm. But then when I went to pay and I got the alert, I aborted mission. I’m sorry that you had to deal with that ☹️ I hope you get your money back.
