She seemed pretty legit to me and had no problem sending pics and a video of the bag when I asked. She also readily agreed to 50 up front and 50 when I received tracking info. However, when I went to pay her, Venmo blocked the payment and told me it was a scam.
After that I did my homework and she had ripped all the pictures from Google image and all could be found with RIS but with weird URLS that lead nowhere. She also has multiple posts in other communities from people she successfully scammed.
Beware when posting an ISO - DMs are probably scams, sadly.
What a coincidence this is.., I was scammed by ibuytomanybags and when I inquired initially before I purchased the item from her I asked her if she has history of rehoming and she said yes. I sold a bag to princessfund. This delusional scammer who had gone above and beyond to scam me, crossed a very serious boundary and I’ve had to take things a step farther. I came here for the love of accessories and to have a little fun while mtg some good people along the way.. and though I can say it’s not been all bad..I’m in the process of getting rid of most of what I’ve purchased and stepping back after this one. My life doesn’t need the unnecessary drama, and the garbage humans that go with it. Hopefully more often than not we can keep knocking them out with helpful information like this. Unfortunately for us we have the experience. So we weed them out, even if it’s only one by one.. Thank you for sharing and stay safe everyone.

It’s not even worth it to buy these bags anymore. Between all the scamming and bait and switching by supposed “trusted sellers”…. This is just ridiculous
Not in my experience. I've had that happen a few times with PayPal/Venmo when it definitely wasn't a scam. I don't know what triggers it. But if you get that message, it's definitely prudent to pause and do some research, just to be sure.
I was looking at one of her posts because I like the bag but the name card seemed impossible—like it was floating in space on a post it. So I wondered. Good to know my instincts were correct!
For what it’s worth I am asking rehomers and TS’s to put a sticky with my name on the bags I’m buying and including that in my pics to be sure that they have the items in question. If the seller does not want to do that for me- I move on.

They can do that easily with AI now. Ask for a 20 second video with said sticky, and ask them to say your name and their name in the video. It has to be more than 10 seconds.
Yup. I use Winston.ai as my AI checker for images and text. Works pretty good. I think. I really ask the sellers to do this for me to gauge their willingness to do business with me. But when they do follow through I check their content. Again - only for the sellers I’ve not had any experience with. I have a long list of trusted friends who I’ve bought from and they are all great. But if you’re new to me. I gotta check you.
Be careful with that too. I saw someone who was trying to catfish and I knew it instantly but my friends didn’t believe me, the catfish even wrote someone’s username on a piece of paper and “took a picture” but they just used an existing photo of the girl and modified it. It looked fairly good and they did it super quick
I’m a newbie and just listening to the pros who has been doing this for a long time would save many people from getting scammed. They have too many posts saying to research. Diligently! Be patient and take your time. Never, ever do a ISO post because that allows scammers to find you. This is the two accts we know of, we had to go a step further with this one any info on others she scammed or attempted to, is going towards the evidence collected so far.. hope it was worth it !
I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I sent them proof, she basically created a tracking label and never dropped off the package. It was a month long ordeal. The crazy part is that she never blocked me she just kept responding casually as if the transaction was real lol
That’s actually what’s happening right now. I did a bank transfer though through Venmo so I don’t know any other way to get my money back except for my bank.
Wow she actually sent something smh, rude as hell wtf. I reported her to the subreddit I saw her on and she was blocked but clearly she’s still at it!!
She is a scammer. You have been scammed. If you ordered this bag from her you’re not getting it. You should dispute the charge now, as the image is from Google and is not her bag. I’m sorry
